    Partially die cut door hangers?

Magnetic rotary dies are not magnetic themselves. The die cutter cylinder is magnetic. The adhesive dies noted above will work on small Ryobi presses. Do your layout on a mylar sheet with the die lines underneath. Then glue the mylar to the impression cylinder. You can do some very intricate...

    Partially die cut door hangers?

You just need something like the leather cutter, and one of these. I've used these very successfully on an AB Dick, but they work just about anywhere you can get good even pressure. You could probably build something a bit more productive with off the shelf items to put the die on.

    Partially die cut door hangers?

Have sheets made to your specs: Find a good die cutting service. Buy the die. Send your own paper cut to your specs. Get the die back with your finished sheets and store it safely until the next order. Order enough to keep the cost reasonable. The savings in set-up and running time with a...

OKI ES9431 - I have some questions for which I am looking for opinions

The marks on belt1 are repeating. I don't have my reference anymore, but if you measure the distance of the matching marks and Google it, or better yet use Chat GPT you should be able to identify the roller, drum, etc that is responsible. If the marks are on the belt, then the part responsible...

    NCR Set Binding Options

I wouldn't worry too much about the glue method. Your client may use these in a clipboard, which makes the stub and perf desirable. You can get pre-collated carbonless perfed with a 1/2 inch stub. Excel Snap-set is an example. You can use fan apart, or regular compound if they want pads with a...

    ultimate slitter and creaser?

That's what I was thinking. If it is standard items that don't change, a rotary die cutter is extremely fast and can do complex scores and perfs while cutting. Changeover is quick.

    Need inventory site or sorts

I was trying to figure out if they needed a cart or a portal. Print on demand vs. off the shelf fulfillment. Sounds like they need a cart with inventory tracking, but one that limits access to products by client like a portal.

Website Redesign and print shop Marketing Agencies?

I can tell you that just about everyone uses either PrinterPresence or Marketing Ideas for Printers. Most franchisees us PrinterPresence. Unless you have a special reason to start from scratch, you will pay less in the long run. Both offer multiple templates and customization to personalize your...

    An offset run lengths question

In the "old" days before Xerox, small presses, and instant plate systems, it was quite common for printers to do that. Though they usually did it for good customers, not someone off the street. Could a paid off press and a starving workforce compete with a digital press payment and $250 in...

    CMYK to CMY MYK

Back before everyone had color machines, we had a regular flyer job that we converted to CMY, and then ran only the CM on yellow paper on a 2-color Ryobi. It worked well, considering it was just a flyer.

    Anyone buying small offsets?

The transportation is usually more than the press is worth (here). An exporter may be interested. Put them on ebay with local pickup and hope for the best.

Using One InDesign Document to Manage All Collateral for a Company

Sorry, Dov. Don't know how I missed this way back. It is a plugin, which makes it very nice because it uses native InDesign elements. Ability to turn layers on and off, control fonts and colors, and much more.

usps error... mailed to return address

It's easy to dismiss 80 out of 100 cards as USPS error. But you would be wise to find the cause for the return address being identified as the delivery address before you end up mailing a larger job with the same issue and get 80% back. I think we can say that is what happened due to the absence...
