On my old 2100 I loaded both high cap trays up with #10's and they ran flawlessly. Miss having that press for envelopes. Ran offset envelopes as well, did not have to get digital envelopes in.

Our business has shifted out of traditional printing to wide format. What we use now works ok for quoting but is really made for offset/digital so it could do a lot of things better for wide format. Any recommendations for software for quoting wide format?

This gets charged through mailing. There is no extra software though, this type of data merge can be done easily through Indesign.

We would not charge extra for printing variable envelopes. Data charges would be part of the mailing fee for that work. Printing merged envelopes is pretty much the same as printing regular envelopes with the minor caveat of making sure they are kept in order.

We use Docket Manager. It does the quoting, invoicing and basically is our docket but in digital form. We still print out physical dockets to move with the job and for samples, but everything is done through Docket Manager.
