I keep wondering if the big printers that have direct contracts with the mills are hoarding paper and that is why the paper distributer can't get paper.
In 2019 I was running a V3100 when we started see these drum problems. By the middle of 2020 it was getting so bad that I started looking at other printers and decided to move to the Iridesse at the end of 2020. Are you saying the drum issue got even worse in 2021?
Three years and they haven't sorted it out. What makes you think they will or are even trying? I would not touch a Versant. What are your customers going to say about all the marks on their printed pieces? You think they will come back for more printing?
I am not seeing it here with latest version of IL. Tried a bunch of zooms up to 64000% using View using GPU or CPU. OS 11.6 Mac Pro (2019), 3.3 GHz 12-Core Intel Xeon W, 192 GB 2933, AMD Radeon Pro W5700X 16 GB MHz DDR4.
Before 2019 Xerox did not have these drum problems. What is beyond my understanding is how they cannot figured out in now 2 years what changes were made that caused this problem and they cannot figure out how to fix it.
Could all be that the bean counters say the new drums are a lot cheaper to...
Since no one can get CMYK toner for Xerox Iridesse metered printers at the moment, Has anyone used purchased CMYK toner in one? Wondering if they are chipped different?
It appears to have gotten so bad at Xerox they don't answer a call anymore.
Can't get Iridesse toner from anywhere I guess.
What part about no toner, can't print do they not understand or don't they care.
This has gotten much worse. I anyone getting toner?
I just got done raising hell with them to escalate the last order but I have orders from back in November that have never shipped.
