    MultiPage Importer for Adobe InDesign

You read my mind. Every time they update InDesign I start getting nervous that this script won't work.

    Ricoh 9210 print quality

Try using different substrate settings like Textured, gloss, etc. That might help to start with. If you have the media scanner for your Fiery thens start from there, it will most likely find the closest match from the built in paper library to go off of. Agreed with the suggestions above on...

I'm sure a lot of you already have this script, but just for those who don't, I did a little video:

Got another one for you. This is how to quickly change overprint on/off within Adobe Acrobat Pro using a preflight function. Hope it helps someone out there.

    Ricoh Pro C7500 vs C7200X

From what I've heard from my Ricoh techs, the upgrade from 7200 to 7500 mostly covers internal changes for easier maintenance as well as better color management/consistency. There is one nice change that I noticed on the specs, was the 7500 now can run up to 470 gsm thickness of paper, up from...

Job tickets - mockups - and general workflow questions.

We use Printer's Plan for our job ticketing and docket writing. I'm not a big fan of it, mostly because it sandwiches all the job info into a small space and it is easy to miss key information. Generally when I'm printing, I just check what the total quantity needed is and calculate it myself...

    Guillotine blade supplier

Not sure where you're located, but we use L.A. Grinding for our blade sharpening and supplies for our Polar cutters. They also supply for other manufacturers as well, including Challenge.

Unique Rotation, Skew and Mirroring in Acrobat Pro DC

Yep, there is that word again. Here is the definition: "If something is skewed, it is changed or affected to some extent by a new or unusual factor, and so is not correct or normal." That is exactly what I mean when I say "your auto document feeder is skewed". I'm not talking about the skew...

Unique Rotation, Skew and Mirroring in Acrobat Pro DC

Yeah, I don't think it can get that fancy. It was mainly focused more on when you scan and your ADF is a little skewed. Thanks for watching!

Unique Rotation, Skew and Mirroring in Acrobat Pro DC

Got another video that I hope some folks will find useful. This is about how to rotate page content in different degrees besides 90 or 180 within Acrobat. Also shows how to mirror images directly in Acrobat. Thanks.

Sharp will be selling their own branded Irridesse / Revoira 1200

They had a booth at PU and are going to start selling all their overseas products here in the US as of the end of 2023. So you'll basically have three different distributors for the same press. Not sure what the advantage of one vs. the other will be.

Sharp will be selling their own branded Irridesse / Revoira 1200

These things are starting to be like the Oki printers where like 50 different brands sell the same machine, lol.

    Fuji will be demoing a B2 Irridesse/Revoria

Can't imagine how big the fuser is for something like this. Kudos to Xerox/Fuji for trying it, but I'm skeptical on how well it can keep the color and registration consistent on a sheet that large. Would still be cool to see though.

Fastest way to add bleeds to a supplied PDF file.

Late to this thread, but here is a video I did on how to do it direct through Adobe Acrobat DC: Create Bleed for Any PDF Using Acrobat Pro DC Hope it helps.

Quickly Add Bleed to a PDF in Adobe Acrobat

PitStop is great. Not gonna lie. But PitStop also costs money. If I can use something I already have to do what I need, why pay more money? I worked at a shop that used PitStop, but it was really overkill for what I needed. Most of my fix-ups can be done in Illustrator or directly in Acrobat, so...

Does anyone have a Polar 115 X user manual they could share? I've been cutting more on ours, but they do not have a manual anywhere and there are a few things I'd like to learn in my spare time. A big Thank You ahead of time!
