my wild guess, using a ph test pen to check if the paper is acid free and leave them in room temp at least 72 hours

actually you can see it on your rip's output window, check green plate, roaming, that ll show you if the green is sold or screen.

looks like you are using indesign to do the separations, for a 2 colors 3985, you should only use spot colors, no matter you choose 4000dpi or 2400dpi, the setting will be override in rip, this is a host based separation, so you need to calibrate yoru rip first and uncheck in rip separations

I do like fusionpro simply becases it can only be installed on one computer, if I wanna do some work at home that is a big problem, deactivate, reactivate, huge pain, doen't like other software when I log into my account I can force to log out of software on ther computer, try something else

I didn't try it, but I guess you can do this, you just skip printing First name Last Name from the presorted records, but print those two fileds from original database, that should solve the problem for example IMB bar code here (from mailing software) First Name, Last Name (from origianl file)...

our old recorder doesn't have this problem but we have a spinner fault error, heidelberg asked 7k for spiner assembly so we bought another used quicksetter 350 then found this problem, actually there is maybe 3 or 4 strips across entire plate, only 2 of them are so obivious, any inputs?

we have a quicksetter 350 from Heideiberg, there are 2 1/4 inch wide light strip from head to tail on plate in the middle area, is it because of bad spinner or from laser unit? thanks a lot

Did you check on board fuses? one of them maybe bad

we were taught by heidelberg guy, the 2nd methond is the right way to check roller settings, but usually we use the first method but make the strip 0.5mm less than standard.

I don't recommend this press based on my experience, we had both qm46-2 and 3304(not ha) in our shop, it took us almost 3 years to know the dampening system of this machine, it used to bring us lots of troubles. polyplate just works fine on this machine, the biggest chanlange so far for this...

my mistake, you are right, should be raid 1, I m using raid 5 now because the we got more than 8 disks on data server.

actually, leave another machine at home and do automatically backup job will solve this problem
