Thanks for the reply. The workflow is actually made by Screen and called Equios, not Equinox by Esko. Totally different workflow.

Would anyone be familiar with Equios and be able to provide a quick step by step in how to apply plate curves once created?

Perhaps I should have been more specific, ICC profiles are geared more towards digital devices (proofing, wide-format, or even a color printer). You don't create Press Dot Gain curves in either the Offset or Flexo world with an ICC Profile and only an ICC.

Dot Gain Curves are generally for the press. An ICC Profile is to force the proofing system to replicate the printed piece(s) once calibrated.

What type of coater do you have on press? Is it roller or Anilox? You can minimize the streaks by doing a 180 on the sheet and running it back through, just to save the job. In the meantime, please provide the press and coater type information for a better technical response/advice.

I hate to tell you but it's "Gang Run" printing. You can't go to McDonalds and expect to receive a 5 Star Steak... Your best shot would be to find a smaller size shop (1/2 Size) and source the paper yourself if the volume justifies it. That way, you're just paying for the presstime.

If the Dyne level of the stock is adequate, Why not run the Opaque White and Lamp, then Process or PMS on top? That's 1 pass vs. 3 passes that you described.
