    xerox v280 -- tshirt transfers?

one of my agents/client just asked if we can do t-shirts. I've never done that before. Is there a substrate that both works well transferring onto the t-shirt -and- will NOT screw up my machine? i'm guessing I'd print it and they'd iron it on? (i'm just afraid of damaging my printers... which...

usps error... mailed to return address

I printed 100 postcards for one of my agents with variable data... return address upper-left, recipient address in the middle of the card. Agent applied postage stamps then dropped them off at USPS. We received about 80 of them at my office with identical barcodes that USPS printed on them...

can one Fiery RIP run two printers?

We have a xerox v280 and a v180. Both have RIPs. The one on the v280 is a constant problem. The one on the v180, while older, is not only more reliable, but so much faster! is it possible to have the full-size tower computer run both printers?

    edge printing on Xerox V280

Some of my clients send me 8.5"x11" prints without bleed. I normally just reduce the file to 96% and get good enough white margins. A teammate didn't reduce, printed as-is and client noticed that one margin was about twice the size as the opposite side. I always thought that the margins...

I'm having trouble finding 2.5" circle labels that are both water/weather-proof AND can go through my xerox v180 or v280. I'm only finding labels for inkjet. I don't suppose any of y'all know where I can find some labels that won't wreck my fuser? Thanks!

    Xerox rant!

Most of my booklets, the cover is only full bleed, so I run the cover through the inserter tray which bypasses the fuser. On occassion, I have projects that are full bleed guts. So, I'll print the entire booklet bleed, then trim down on my Duplo, then run the entire booklet through my inserter...

    printers on carpet

    Duplo DC-616 gutter error

hi all, my duplo says the gutter deflectors need to be retracted, but they're already up and out of the way for. I rebooted the machine and moved the deflectors up and down to no success. I cannot see any kind of sensor that tells the machine what position they're in. anyone had a similar...

    bc slits or glue dots?

I have an agent who wants to attach her business card to a door hanger. I have pre-perf'ed DH paper, but I don't have a punch for BC slits, nor is there enough demand for my dept. to purchase one, so my agent is going to buy it and do the work. I think glue dots are a cheaper and easier...

Canon quietly discontinues 2" core roll fed paper

I ordered paper from LexJet.com on June 1st and didn't notice that LexJet shipped the wrong product (3" core), so I ask them to help me and send the right stuff. They tell me that Canon discontinued the 2" core. I tell them (two weeks ago) that their website still lists the 2" core (still shows...

3-d wall decorations done with my equipment?

Something I can print and then manipulate somehow on the duplo? I've done an arc of rolled 12"x12" printed art (branding, logo, etc) and rolled them into cones, then arranged them like the statue of liberty. I've run paper through the duplo twice, once in each direction to crease and make 3d...
