Permanent packing works really well. One thing to watch out for is getting moisture under it and developing rust on the cylinders. Every now and then take them off and clean/treat the cylinders to prevent this. Then install new permapacs.

Have you tried what is reffered to as 'Doped' lamps, these contain iron instead of mercury so work off of a much broader UV spectrum and work well for curing problem colors like Dark blues, blacks and Opaque whites. Just a suggestion.

There is no difference between a Anilox 'coating' tower and a flexo print unit, we have a press with two application units as we like to call them that run flexo ink or coating as required, Litho guys have to become flexo guys for those units and that is an issue sometimes.
