Hey Plato users, We're trying to use staggered cut, and it seems to work fine for normal colors, but it does not seem to work for technical colors. Any ideas on how to make it work for technicals?

Actually, I think I figured it out. Earlier in this thread someone mentioned about matching the resolution. That seems to be the case here. It rescreens it if there is a resolution mismatch. Also, it only seems to work using the "Assemble Separation" task rather than the "Assemble Screened TIFF"...

I have tried this, merging files with DotSpy, stepping the Link EPS in Artpro and ripping with Nexus, but it always seems to be re-screening the TIFFs!!! How have you gotten around this?

Wow. That's pretty cool. I had no idea DotSpy could do that! Do the high-res versions have to remain in the same place for the link to work?

Re: Extended Gamut proofing I never said we are printing on a CMYK press. We are looking at printing Extended Gamut, ie. hexachrome or Opaltone or CMYKrgb, therefore we don't want to be limited by the gamut of our proofing.
