It turns out i have dehumidifier heaters under tray 4 and 5 per my service manager....is this the same as preheaters?

I do not have preheaters installed....i will check into that and see how much they would charge me. thanks!!

Sorry..out of the large feed unit, so tray 4 and 5. They seem to be replacing feed tires like crazy, and even told me there is a TSB about gloss paper that needs a new style feed roller. But i seem to be wearing these tires out faster than normal....

And Ikon is blaming me. They say i am running paper that is not within spec. Currently i am trying to run Galerie Art 100lb text. 4/4 12x18 and unless i put 30 or less sheets in the PFU it will jam in the tray.

My machine has the LS-502 but the finisher is different than on the "options" page you point to. Ikon calls it a "booklet finisher" but it does not look much different than the "folder" on the KM page. But it does fold and staple...which for me is enough. The curious thing is that is does not...

yes this is a very nice copier and i am loving it more every day....i do have the pro80 with the latest software and firmware. I am sure i could have a better finisher, but because it is a demo which allows me to get such a great deal on it, i have to take the standard booklet maker with cover...

My machine looks "similar' to that picture, except it has the double tray feed unit, and the booklet finisher. How can you tell the "software level" of the machine by the picture?

I also use printer bench pro...we do 12 coupons up on 11x17, and print the background into a variable data master file and then select this master when printing out of PBP and its easy cheezy....now if they would just write the software for a mac:D:D
