What is Faster Canon ipf8300 or HP Z series ? ?

If speed is the main requirement the iPF8300s 8 colour is worth looking at. The quality for the vast majority of photo work will look very similar. Many quick printers that do photo work ad point of sale etc etc will have the S series Canon's for speed. Get some sample files on both devices...

Xerox 800 vs KM C8000 vs Canon C7010VP

Im still convinced it is your local support and not the box itself. Get someone else in to look at the problem. Printing pdf's to a production device is not a complex job.

mid production b&w, Oce vs Xerox?

This i do agree very much with. One point re inline finishing if you are considering demo a long run as well as perfect binding etc will slow the engine down as will some other finishing options. Do have a look at the Canon iPR1135 but my gut feel is the Oce is for you based on above.

mid production b&w, Oce vs Xerox?

I hear nothing but bad stories re the nuvera series. I would not personally say the quality is better than the oce either from what i have seen. I think Oce dominate the production b&w space with good reason, they have the best kit. The Canon iPR1135 is worth a look too if quality is important...

    Recommend a Digital Press

wrong Canon mate. The iR ADV C7055 is the comparable model. Its on the light production scale if you add fiery and the pod deck lite. The 5030 is an office copier.

New to printing: Canon IR C9065 vs. Xerox 700

All is will add is if you have been satasfied with the 5185 you will be overjoyed with the 9065. There is no comparison between the 2. If you want heavy stock get the multi deck or POD deck lite as both offer air assisted feed which is very good for coated and heavier stocks. The papaer...

KM bizhub PRESS C6000 vs. Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9075 or 9076 PRO

Dude, i accept what you are saying and realise customers print on varying stocks. My point is that many clients still do 100% of work at greater than 200gsm on a Canon 9000, Xerox 700 or KM6501 and the CED for all of them say they cant do it. The point i make is a lot of customers are guilty of...

KM bizhub PRESS C6000 vs. Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9075 or 9076 PRO

The Canon 9000 pro series is a very good box if sold into the correct area. I know a user putting 100k/mth on there with no problems at all. They are doing everything at 100gsm so its fine and the quality is good. If you try and run 300gsm business cards all day expect isssues but its you own...

KM Parts & Supplies from Japan

So its clear there will be issues. Lets not forget they rely on suppliers as well for raw materials and components etc. None of the statements tell us the impact their suppliers have had. There will be issues.

KM bizhub PRESS C6000 vs. Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9075 or 9076 PRO

I am aware of a customer running 200k a month on a iR ADV 9075pro. It is all on 80gsm but it doesnt miss a beat. These are good machines. If you have requirement for heavy stock all of the time then this is not the machine. For the right work its a great machine. Like anything you need to find...

Konica might be ok but id bet not all their suppliers are.

KM Parts & Supplies from Japan

Thats not to say their component suppliers are not impacted. Keep in mind this industry like most works on a just in time manufacturing process, so once each local country depletes stock of toner, parts main units etc there will no doubt be delays. Anyone saying otherwise is just being polite...

All manufacturers will be impacted. Power is shut off in Japan for several hours every day at present.

Why is the Konica $1/2 the xerox

How widespread is coverage based click charges in the USA? We are not seeing this in Australia as yet. Can the KM detect coverage somehow and charge accordingly? Or how does the dealer charge or the customer understand the cost of the specific job. Makes sense to go down this model imo.

    Epson 7900 vs Cannon 6350

I agree, both are solid units and both have pro's and cons. At the end of the day i think you will be fine with either of them. Both get very good reviews by independet reviewers.
