We are climate controlled. Usually between 47 and 55% rh.

Looking for some ideas and possible solutions to an issue with reverse curl on our printed sheets and lables. The problem seems to have come out of nowhere across all substrates and presses without any clear cause. Any ideas on what could be causing it and solutions on how to fix it?

Those are the tricks i was looking for. Have any to share?

Thank you. We do use a calcium rinse weekly but it would prob not hurt to use more. I will have to talk to our rep about the calcium suspension additives. Anything to help even some of the problem.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to reduce the amount of calcium pulled from the paper during printing. We recently started getting our paper from europe and while the paper quality is far better it comes with this new problem.

What would cause only the areas that the paper does not extend to scum? Builds on blanket as well.

On this press the pan roller is rubber like metering rollers on other presses and the chrome is outside the pan. Its new to me ive only seen them the other way around. There is no scew setting only adjustments for both sides. The problem is that the gear side has to be backed off so far to clean...

Water temp is set at 55 with 5 degree limit. I am running without integration. Unless i am confused isn't the skew setting what i set when i contact the chrome metering roller? Set till heavy water disappears plus a quarter turn. This happens on all units all on the gear side.
