We are trying to "nest" boxes in XMƒ by overlapping the pages in the impo. We are losing bleed where they overlap. Does anyone know how to override this to allow bleed? You can see the Green bleed line and there is art extended but does not work when overlapping.

Great question but it was customer supplied out of InDesign.

We have been using XMF for 5 years and it's been pretty solid. But this week we had a page that was multi up of the same thing and pages ripped differently. I have never seen this on any RIP in my career. I'm told that Fuji has a case with Adobe. Anyone know anything about this issue?

Got an email yesterday from Fuji about plate prices going up as of May 1, at the rate of $.36 per sq/ft. We're a 6 up shop so that equates to almost $2.00 per plate. Thoughts?

Also, there is a firmware update to make the P9000 use the forthcoming non-chipped ink carts. Should also fix chips not recognized by the printer.

Looks like Epson is taking care of this problem. They're discounting the chipped carts due to the chip shortage. New part numbers and pricing for ink. https://epson.com/support/wa00941

Thank you for the input. Good to know about that capability. We compose files out of FusionPro which often have javascript rules governing certain aspects of the output and/or image swap. So I was just needing to know what file formats are best used to input into the Fiery.

Hey folks, We are changing over from Kodak 2700 to KM c14000. What file formats work best for efficiency for variable data? We tried pdf/vt which I was told by our press operator does not work. We are trying PPML which is giving some ps errors. It is not clear to me what the mfg recommends...
