100% vegetable based soy toner

I recently saw another printing company promoting that their toner inks were "100% vegetable based soy toner". Is their such a thing...is this possible.

If so what machine would run this?

I do believe xerox products are using green cartridges.. maybe not 100% but close.. I know the Xerox 7750 uses vegetable-based toner

Company promoting this seems to be running more of a production type machine...13x19 sheet size I believe on thick stocks. So far equipment I have seen that use this solid ink or other typs of laser cartridges are for smaller format desktop type machines.

Any ideas on more production type equipment?

"100% vegetable based soy toner" is an impossible claim - at a minimum, the colorants will not be vegetable or soy based - they will be derived from petrochemicals. If a vendor is claiming 100%, they are either ill-informed or are "greenwashing".

They are definetely non-toxic to the environment; plus, from the way they are manufactured to the way they are fused on paper, you can say it's an environmentally friendly toner. It supports Xerox' sustainability message.
