We will be getting our first closed loop press this fall. With 2 of our presses we have an odd workflow where we image our plates 2 up (upper and lower) and sheer and punch after processing. We were wondering if this can be done with a plate going to a closed loop system as well. My initial experiments have not had any success but I can only export data, I do not yet have the equipment to read it. We have Rampage 10.5 and the information will be going to a Komori K Station. The press will be using QTI and system Brunner.
Theoretically it looks like I can export ink zone data for a part of the plate. I was just wanting to know if anyone has tried something similar to what we are trying to achieve.
