3rd party ink in a sherpa

Hello to all,

Is anyone using Mutoh ink in a Grand Sherpa or a Sherpa 43i? How about 3rd party inks in these printers? Or refilled Agfa cartridges? We are looking for anyone that has hands on information and can inform us about using Mutoh Cartridges, 3rd party cartridges, or knows of a source for inks for these 2 printers.

I have used Sherpa 3rd party ink in a Mutoh (Iris 43 Wide). I purchased through GE Richards.
Several cartridges came in and failed to work. We had issues in the early stages of using them from the wrong tab configuration on colors (we cut them off so the cartridge would fit the slot) to the id stickers not applied (we would use the previous sticker). Some even ended up leaking... Most worked the quality improved and we ran on these every day for over 1 year until the ink system finally failed with cracked lines... It was time to upgrade. The Mutoh (Iris 43 Wide) lasted 8 years with some serious use every day... I'd try them, I never thought I would get another year out of the system...
