wanted to get a census of how many people are still using laminating in offset and digital shops, and what is the application? is or can laminating compete with uv coating, or should it be offered as a upgrade from uv. i have been crunching numbers and it seems with the initial investment on both you would come out ahead with lamination, but after that uv dominates from a net margin perspective. anyone out there that currently or in the past have both machines running at the same time can give some perspective. thanks!
