Agfa Graphics is a world leader in prepress solutions for the commercial, newspaper and packaging printing industries. In addition, we are quickly expanding our assortment for the fast-growing market of industrial inkjet printing with the development of state-of-the-art printers and inks for applications such as billboards, packages and decoration.
Our Mississauga, ON location is expanding, and we are looking for an Account Manager: Dotrix to join our Sales team.
In this position you will drive revenue growth for the: Dotrix family of industrial inkjet products.
Main responsibilities:
• Achieve budgeted: Dotrix sales & margin targets by coordinating efforts with different stakeholders (prospects, Dotrix Sales Support, channel partners, lead generators, service department, etc.).
• Develop & realize a business plan for otrix nationally, map accessible market potential per application & define a sales strategy how to optimize sales towards these target markets
• Gain new business by promoting: Dotrix solutions to digital packaging stake holders: brand owners (consumer packaged goods), packaging designers, printers/converters, etc.
• Promote: Dotrix solutions to the packaging industry through attendance/participation in forums in the: Dotrix target markets.
• Keep abreast of competitive offerings in the marketplace, providing analysis on a regular basis as input to local and global management.
• Assure qualitative and regular reporting line to the Country Manager as well as global management.
Qualifications:
• University degree, MBA an asset
• At least 5 years experience in business development or project sales (consultative selling)
• Solid experience in selling capital equipment.
• Previous experience in the packaging market an definite asset
• Proven ‘hunter’ seller, with drive and perseverance
• Excellent sales & negotiations skills, well-versed in selling to C-level executives
• Good organization and time management skills
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Works within a focused and well-structured sales discipline
