Adhesive build up on Guillotine blade

Hello all,

We are running a job that is printed on pressure sensitive vinyl. When we cut it on our Guillotine cutter, after a couple of lifts, we get a large amount of adhesive build up on the front and back of the blade. Anyone have the silver bullet for this?

Thanks in advance,
SK

We have not, we will, thanks Mr. Pasty Thighs (I smile when I type that). The adhesive that builds up on the back of the blade the major issue.

Have you tried some Food Grade Silicon spray on the blade between cuts

Yes, silicone spray is the best option, your consumable supplier should be able to supply a product called "Printers Silicone" but if they are food labels then check that the product is food grade.
