Adobe illustrator swatches - Need help

I have this page


and I want to sort colors to be like this

First white, then yellow shades....

I have all colors as swatches but I can't find way to sort them. Can you help me?

Is there any way to sort swatches by color? Manual sorting is almost impossible. Any script or similar

Illustrator CS3 has commands in the swatches pallet for sorting it's own swatches by name and by kind. But what you have attached to your message seems to be an image from a work by Gernot Hoffmann, so these are not even Illustrator swatches.

Or am I mistaken, because you write that "Manual sorting is almost impossible". Why, because of the large number of them? Can you even move one of the swatches to a different position?

You can create colour groups (folders in the swatches) and group your colours if you like. Or just create them in the order you want them

How does that bear on the fact that the attachment to the original post was a pdf page of unknown creator application and not swatches or patches from Illustrator?

The PDF is labeled PS-Swatch, and I assume that what they are asking for is not to reorder the swatches in the application but to create an artwork with patch values from the first PDF in the arrangement in the second PDF… lett's wait until the OP clarifies what is the intent.
