Advice about specific web to print job

Long time lurker, first post.

We currently are using OPS but are researching alternatives. We have a customer that has a specific job setup where we created a library of PDF images that is currently over 4000. The customer can then create a spreadsheet with a list of the ones they want to order, it then selects those PDF's from the library to create order that are printed on Igen.

We did it this way to cut done on manual work and to make the customer responsible for correctness. If any item in list does not match it returns a PDF with error message.
This is the primary job we are considering when selecting new system.

We have narrowed it down to 4..

Current Digital Storefront user here. I'd advise removing it from your list of 4. We regret purchasing it and almost everything else seems better and cheaper. Has some nice features on paper but you'll be fighting bugs and defects that won't get fixed. We've been dealing with the some of the same big bugs for 5 years now with no help in sight. We're currently looking at Pressero, funny enough, so kinda happy to see that on your list too.

With that out of the way, it sounds like you're wanting an online system that can accept a spreadsheet upload, map values in that spreadsheet to a pre-uplodaded image library of over 4,000 images, and then generate a print file of just those images? Sounds like a challenge for sure. How many images are in a typical order?

Thats pretty much correct. Typical order is about 200-300. Challenge for sure, think it took about 4 months on OPS to get working.

Couple of other questions about these systems for anyone.

1. We have some customers setup with inventory item that we manage on OPS via spreadsheet also, so...
Are the products, user, addresses and cost centers uploadable via spreadsheet also?

2. Can users be defined as Credit card and or invoice?

We have quite many of clients using OPS migrated to us. We have Data Import in Excel/CSV and also set up services to migrate all your key accounts. We can have a discussion & see how your current system is set up for your client ordering via Spreadsheet and can do POC(proof of concept) in our platform.
