For the third time in less than 10-months, Agfa announces they will increase prices of offset printing plates & chemicals.
Raw material shortages and the competition to secure aluminum & other materials has accelerated the cost increase—aluminum futures recently traded at a 30-year high on the London Metal Exchange, reporting now at over double the cost of 18-months ago. In addition to raw material cost, logistics & operational costs have also increased.
Specific price increases—expected to be double-digit—will apply from November 1, 2021 onwards and will be communicated directly by Agfa to customers.
