Alternative of PCS

Hi,

can anyone tell me, if there is an alternative of PCS . I mean, We know about using of Profile Connection Space in ICC-Workflow with CIEXYZ oder CIELab.

But do you think, if we can use another way instead of traditional PCS?

LAB and XYZ are typical of most commercial color management software. Of course a device-link omits the PCS altogether. The Argyl CMS allows for alternative PSCs (LCh, Yxy, CIECAM02).

What is it you hope to accomplish?

I have read, that we could have direct Colour Transformation between two Device due to the so called Device Link Profile. I have already heard about CIECAM02 and LABPQR as . But what exactly it is, i dont know.

By the way i am not an expert for Colour Management. I just interst in this theme. It's very kind of you, if you can show me more about this theme or the specialized paper, information about this.
