Rob,
Let us imagine your press is brand new and the Crestline's were just installed by a good tech that knows how to install and set the Crestline's properly.
The tech has all the pressures set properly including cylinder pressures etc.
You run your first job and after say 1000 sheets you get lead edge creep. Which I have seen several times. What I do at that point is use what I know works.
I get samples of fountain solution and the additive from Crestline that is made to run poly plates and some Zip Set ink oil base series like XLR. This works well and gives outstanding results.
The pigment level in some inks is so low you must over ink to get a good sheet and leads to emulsification etc.
I service over 30 3302's and 3304's and this combo works perfect.
I have also seen greasy blanket wash and water miscible wash cause toning problems after a wash up. I have had lead edge creep on unit 2 after a few thousand and found it was the heat from the infra red drier causing it. A small Royce chiller helps also.
Good Luck

Try switching to soy base ink. We ran Oil base for 28 years and switched to soy and found much less issue. Put the same plate in both heads with soy in one and oil base in the other and see which works best. Back off your plate to blanket pressure until it stop printing cleanly and then reapply pressure until to image returns. To much pressure can cause the plate to stretch and wear and the greatest strain is at the head of the plate. Be sure your water forms are in good condition. As the form ages the ends can start to cup. As you tighten the pressure you can get to a point of causing the form to bounce as it comes in contact with the plate. Change your water regularly. When you clean out the press flush the tray with water to be sure no contaminant get back into your water supply.
