I'm curious how this works. I get color management for digital proofing, but implementing it for plating eludes me. If a target profile(ex. SWOP3 v2) requires a change in the solids of CMYK for the source file(press fingerprint), won't it create contaminate or scum dot in the solids?
I use EFI for digital proofing, but all plate output through Nexus is based on conventional curve data using Symphony curves.
Any input would be helpful.
