Apogee Shingling Question

We have a 64 page doc with a 16 page insert. They are set up as different products, because A: it doesn't print on the same stock and B: it doesn't fall exactly in the middle of the main doc due to an 8 pager at the beginning of the 64. When we turn shingling on, it does the book, but not the insert. Any workarounds would be helpful. TIA

I would have done two different products with 64 pages each, but only output the sheets/plates that were needed for each stock.
