Artist Looking for Home Printer

[looking for a printer]

Hi All,

I'm new to the site.

I sell prints taken from my original artwork. I currently use my local Print Shop for my A3 prints, but am looking at costs for a home printer.

I'm looking at the Epson SC-P600.

I know it's hard to give a figure, but am trying to work out costings per A3 print, full colour.

Anyone out there own one? any ideas or links to other posts on this site I may have missed?

I think it will be hard to figure out a cost per page because you are going to be printing higher coverage than whatever they rate the cartridges with. Also nozzle flushes use ink

Go to the Epson site, They have a general way to figure cost per sheet, based on coverage.

Go for the SC-P800 instead. It'll do A2 and will print the A3 quicker than the P600 will, and it's only slightly more expensive.
