Aseptic packaging (germ and spore free) has been around for a long time. It might be growing but I doubt this has any relevance to commercial or normal packaging printers.

Aseptic packaging is a very capital intensive and science/technology intensive industry. It is a complicated mix of specific materials, manufactured in very specific ways and then with customer product filled in the aseptic packaging in a very controlled manner to ensure the product stays aseptic. In some cases, post radiation is used.

Even though there are probably no opportunities for the general printing company, there can be opportunities for press operators and others that have worked with processing printed and laminated materials.
