Master Graphic Services—a 40-year-old Atlanta, GA firm—already has all of the necessary equipment—at their 50,000 sq.’ complex—to convert any carton for their customers, but sometimes the job requires 2 or 3-passes. With this in mind, Aamir Anwar, the firm’s CEO, and his team, decided it was prudent to add another folder gluer line to provide one-pass productivity and quality control for their wide variety of customer jobs.

The firm’s customers recommended Koenig & Bauer due to their leadership position in the packaging market and well-built, innovative equipment; and Koenig & Bauer offered to provide a custom-built machine to respond to the firm’s wide variety of individualized work. Chosen, was an Allpro-110 Folder Gluer—to be delivered in the spring of 2023—that will provide single-pass productivity, providing additional capacity and faster turnaround.

“The Allpro will eliminate these extra pass processes and enhance the firm’s ability to check and convert accurately while also adding a tremendous amount of additional capacity,” says Anwar.

The new Allpro will complement Master Graphic Services’ capabilities, such as film laminations, UV coatings, foil stamping, embossing, die cutting, folding & gluing all sorts of individualized custom cartons, including: straight line, crash-lock, double-wall, 6- & 4-corner cartons, cartons with complex insert & inner cells, soft & rigid window application on cartons, perfect binding, coil binding, wiro binding, handwork and other services.

While the Allpro’s production speed is impressive with a maximum output of up to 400 m/min, its custom features make it an efficient stand-out. Fully automatic processes are combined with memory functions to achieve the shortest possible makeready times for Master’s workload. Intuitive, touchscreen-based operating will provide operators with exceptional ease of operation.
