avantra 25 white spots

Dear All,

We have random (size, shape and position) white spots in negative areas of film.(ECRM RIP 9., Xitron card)
Our idea was some contamination, so first we cleaned processor (also changed liquids), same result, then we cleaned drum, cleaned mirror of the spinner, same result.

any idea?

If this is dust, what to clean next? Or a hardware issue?
Please check attached images of the problem (zoom 20x AND 200x).

Thank you in advance.

Need a little more information.
These white spots, do they appear in same place on outputted jobs?
Did you take a piece of film and expose it to the day light and then process the film? Are there any spots?
Did you try a new roll of film with different emulsion number?

No, the spots appear randomly. Even the spot size and shape is different, there are bigger and smaller spots all around the film.
Yes we did, if we expose the film to daylight and process, there are no spots, its completely black.
Also we run the inner exposure test, there are the spots.

Right now, we have vacuum cleaned another input cassette and put a new roll of film in.
Also cleaned nip rollers with the sticky tape to remove any contaminations.
The spots still with us...

Keep the film loaded on the drum of the Avantra, and vacuum the area. I don't know you location, but if you have a static problem, when you rewind the film, the dust will stick to the film. I also would try a new roll of film

Clean the whole intake air system: remove black plastic duct, remove the fan and clean the propeller and metal mesh/grid, wash inside with a soap and dry the duct. REPLACE the AIR FILTER!
You can use compressed air as well.
