Does anyone have a typical BWR value for narrow web flexo?

I know there are a number of variables, but is there a range in microns, inches or millimeters that is a ballpark figure?

It varies from shop to shop but a decent starting point would be -.002" to no BWR.

Hi, we use 100-110% at .004" for poly customers and 200% at .008" for corrugate. Right now we talking with a printer who's printing on pulp egg cartons with our gravure plates and we are trying to find a standard for them. UPC A at 180% with a .005" BWR looks like the best one but says they can never get over a 71% or about a B rating. Is it possible to achieve anything higher then a B or 70% scan?

70% is not recommended, Also B value is not an issue.

How is 70% not recommended? That is what their scanner is saying and the grade is a B.
