ICC Profil

ICC Profil

U need iOne, and Profile Maker to do this.
I have also Basys 835 and Creo Trendsetter 800 II Quantum
But I don't make ICC profiles, i make curve for the plate. First curve is for calibration of CTP. and other is print curve that is different for any print shop. I have Kodak Prinegy Evo and for calibration use Creo Harmony. Any rip have that options for calibrations and color management.

Thanks for replying.

Here is a better explanation of what we have tried and what we are running into..Any help would be appreciated.
We used a step wedge in the burned in the bend, Values 1,2,3,4,5,10,20,25,up to 100%.
Registration Color, 150 line screen, conventional.

When we lower the exposure to keep the dots open we get banding. When we increase the exposure to eliminate the banding the screens plug up really bad.

We are reading the wedge with a Xrite Plate Scope Model XRD60.

Thanks,
Chuck

you say you use basys in basys far as i know there is not anything like exposure
they are called light time true ?

man,
First check your Rip, as Basys doesnt make banding if the rip is Ok,
i give support to several basys, and non of them have a lets call it ExCurve, you just have to install in the right way your lamp and to make your Overlay, if you want to fine tune your plates then you can use any plate reader. but as far as i have worked with the machines, they work great even with Stocasdtic screening.
you should consider upgrading your rip to get that screen and youll have great plates. contact me i might help you getting a great price on the rip.
