Blanket trouble for uv and tranditional in alternation.

We are using a blanket which is alternative between uv and traditional ink. The blanket is OK at the first days of uv and traditional ink change. UV washer for uv printing and tranditional washer for tranditional ink. But after days, when we change trandtional into uv printing. The blanket surface become smooth and pick up paper. It's great headache. Kindly guide me how to use the multipurpose blanket properly.

We do not change washes when we switch to UV/Conventional we use the UV wash all the time. We use a blanket that is designed for both UV/Conventional inks and the only issue we had was swelling and this was solved by not using a UV lamp on every unit but wet trapping then curing at end of print.
UV inks and washes are traditionally very hard on blanket life so dont expect them to last very long. There are also a milion different types of blankets around so give some other one a try and see if you get better results. Good luck
