Blueprints and House Plans

Does anyone here print blueprints and house plans as a staple of their business? I have some particular questions, but it seemed most people on the forum do not, so I did not want to go on a spiel unless there is someone to listen.

We print engineering prints daily. While we don't print enough to justify a dedicated Oce unit, it's a great source of revenue and one we would like to continue growing.

Currently we use a Canon iPF825 MFP M40. This machine also does all our wide-format work (minus fine art and outdoor) and gives us oversize scanning. Cost per color CAD print is approximately $0.12 / sqft. (not including overhead and machine costs).

The bulk of our line drawings is B&W which we print on 20# bond, and the color renderings on 27# coated paper.

Any questions, fire away....
