Booklets folding 1/8" off center

Though I am new to the Xerox 770, it seems I have gone through the instructions and made an adjustment to the fold position. Applied this change to the tray. However, when I print another book the fold position is unchanged. The staples line up with the fold
perfectly. Anyone seen this before? If so, is there a simple solution?

Are you saying that both the staples and the fold are 1/8 inch away from where you want them?

Yes the fold and staples are 1/8" from the center.
This is true for both sizes I've tried . . . 5.5x8.5 and 9x12

Well it is a very good thing that the staples and the fold are aligned.

As for their position, my guess is that you have some sort of miss-corespondence between the page size in your document file and the page size in the imposition template that you have selected. But I am not familiar at all with the system you are using, so I cannot offer further help.

Is this your first booklet on this machine? If so, I'd call tech support. It may be that something in the finisher is way off to begin with.

I am sure the fold gate jumped a few threads.
