I had a similar issue on my C75 last night. Problem is, I am not at my shop right now and I don't remember what the error code was. I'm pretty sure it was three hundred something. I do remember the tech telling me when I called that it is related to the drum motor. He said it doesn't take much resistance to throw that code. He said my code was for the black drum. Sure enough, when I pulled it out, it dumped toner all over the place and had a streak around it about a half inch wide. Something must of got caught in the wiper. When I replace the drum, code went away and it worked fine. So I would imagine you may have over-tightened something or whatever. Try going back over what you did. Make sure nothing got caught and it's put back together correctly. I wish I remembered what that code was though.

Good morning Keith, than you for your suggestion. i think that is the area of the issue, the drums. Did not have any instock so had to purchase additional drums - which are on their way. Will update.

Just to conclude on this chapter. Firstly I want to thank you all your helpful suggestions. Unfortunately I never got the C75 machine purchased from Xeropros working. My local Xerox dealer tried everything to fix this machine for me (which cost me an additional arm and a leg, as you can well imagine). In the end I had to concede I had purchased an expensive lemon... I deduce from this episode moving forward is to make sure to only purchase from companies willing to stand behind the products they sell by offering good buyer protection warranties/guaranties (no matter what).

You should call Xerox direct and talk to them about your issue with a reseller. You're looking for the customer service relation department, they could possibly revoke the rights to this other business to sell machines.

Thanks for your suggestion Priceline Negotiator:
To add to my ordeal, is that the seller did say he would replace the unit (if I paid all shipping expenses...). He would then ship back a replacement unit that would come with - wait for this.... "no guarantees/warranties" (go figure)!!!!!
