Can Xerox c70 add metallic/white/clear toners.

Hello,
In the interest of $, it was suggested I look at Xerox c70 with the ability to add the metallic/white/clear toners. The salesman I am talking with says I can just switch out the new toners for the regular ones. But another person I talked to says, it doesn't work that way and I would need to get a "kit" to change out the colors. I'm not having much luck finding a lot of information about the kits, but it seems like it won't be an easy -take out one cartridge and replace it with another one. Does anyone have actual experience with this?
thanks!
Carrie

It’s called adaptive colour/ink. When I looked into it, for the c60 you do need a kit and you need to have a fiery controller. From what I can remember, the kit consists of the toners, a second set of drums and then a unit to store the other set of drums so they don’t get damaged.

I believe with the Versant 180/280 though, you don’t need the second set of drums.

Thank you for the information.
