Canon imagePROGRAF Pro-2000 Draining Ink

Hi all,

I'm having an issue with our Canon imagePROGRAF Pro-2000 and wondered if anyone has had the same issue/solved the problem previously.
It's currently draining an entire new PC cartridge whilst "filling the print head".
I'm assuming there's a leak in the sub-tank and going directly into the maintenance cartridge instead.

I should add, this is only happening with the Photo Cyan cartridge.

Does anyone have any experience or the service manual that I could check?

Thanks!

I have a Pro-4000s, but I haven't had an issue with that exact problem. I do know that the machine needs to be on 24/7 (power button should always be glowing) so the print head doesn't dry out.

I actually didn’t know this until the other day when I read it on this forum. Obviously from we’re keeping it always on going forward.

I don’t suppose you know how big the sub tanks actually are? What capacity do they hold in ml?

Thanks
