Carbonless Prices...

For years we have outsourced the majority of our carbonless work because the specialty shop will do the whole job for less than we pay for the paper. I just wondered if everyone else was doing the same. Even on 2,000 3-part 8.5x11 forms we can't afford to run it in house just because of what we pay for the paper. We are paying $74/M sheets for 3-part 11x17 and we group our orders with another local print shop.

Is that $74/M for 1000 sets of 3-part? or $74/M for 1000 sheets (333 sets) and is that your price for the paper or for the printing that you're outsourcing.

You should be paying about half that. Call Randolph paper 800-752-2339

I would call a couple other paper company and check their prices. I think you should get it for around 40-50$ per M.

I will check with Randolph. We had been using Veritiv and Guys E Paper.

I was using Veritiv and went with another company and everything was cheaper. The only thing is the white 20-lb. The brightness is 92 and Veritiv was 97.

Might wanna try Midland Paper. We use them and they have pretty good pricing on most stuff. But theyre more regional I believe.

Just remember... there's a big difference in prices between the East Coast and anything west of (A) the Mississippi River or (B) the Rockies. (Take your pick.)
