Hi guys,

I'm considering buying brand new guillotine cutter, wanted to see opinions on new ~36" challenge vs polar cutters? are they apples to apples or apples to ice cream?

Thanks!

Never trust in salesman, trust in the marked. And the marked says Polar is the best. The second hand price is the most significant indicator of any machine quality. If a machine is good everybody likes it and this is Polar. If you would have bought in 1982 a 92 (36”) machine you get until 2020 official spare parts. These are 38 years! What do you think why? There are only two machines in this world which are copied by Chinese companies, this is Polar and Itoh. How much realistic arguments you need?

Besides all this, there is as well the personal taste and the individual liking. Most operators like the nice and easy operating. Most owners like the high productivity and the reliability. Most people like Polar. I am subjective, I know – so check the arguments ......

Not easy to say. Polar is number one, but this does not mean that you cannot live with the number two or three. Regarding this question I would ask the people from binderytech.com. They know both Polar and Perfecta. And these are extremely honest people.
