Changing fiery dpi

So I have a job that requires super small font. I'd love to do it on my xerox 1000i, but I can't get the last lines of the smallest text to be clear. The 1000 is 2400x2400dpi, but I can't find anywhere to bump up the fiery to 1200dpi or better. All I can get is the 600dpi under the properties of the print job. Is there someplace I can go to get a higher dpi? I feel like I'm missing something obvious here.

Some Fierys can only go to certain DPI's, from what I remember.

It is generally under image quality. Sometimes you need to turn off things like font smoothing before the highest rez is an available option.
