Hello everone , I use a 613s silvermaster paper plate for My abdick 9810cx .if I make four plates .and use cyanink, Magnetaink, yellowink and black ink would My image print in a full color photo print ?
not sure if I understand the question.
If you're image is a four color image, then using cyan, magenta, yellow and black ink will do the trick.
but, if your image is black and white, then using the cmyk inks will not work.
Using a direct image camera will not give you the results you are looking for. What would have to happen is your prepress would have to scan the photo convert it into CMYK separations and print out all four different colors on a laser printer probably at around 85 dpi. You would then shoot each of these on your direct image plate maker and then you can run the four colors as you mentioned however the results will not be very good. Registration from dot to dot will be terrible and at 85 dpi your dots would be huge. If you are using a mega or silver master plate CTP the results will be much better because you can then go to at least 133 dpi. In the old days they used to take a color photo on a process camera and use different filters and use different screen angles to create each of the Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and black negs.
