convert bitmap image to font?

Not that I'm aware of. You could convert the bitmap image to a vector object by using a program such as Adobe Streamline, but as far as I know, you can't convert a bitmap to a font. At least by converting it to a vector object, you could scale it as large as you like without quality loss. Is this what you are trying to achieve? or are you working from something old and want to match the font elsewhere in the job?

Not sure if this is what you're asking, but font creation applications import bitmaps which are then outlined in vector format as an overlay. The vector art then becomes the font.
