Copy / Paste - getting hyphenated words

This should be so simple. But it is stumping me.
Old document. 2 pages.
Copy all from page 1.
If I put into a 3rd page everything is fine.
If I make a new document and paste, I get hyphenations.
I must have some setting that is not bringing the hyphenations rule with the copied text?

Para Style

New document has vanilla/no style applied. Hyphenation is normal and in use. Pasted text respects document style set.

Source doc has "No Hyphenation" set, respected when pasted to page 3.

You could look at the styles and set same in new doc; load styles from source to new or paste with formatting (maybe?).

Which software program are you talking about????????
