CP 2000 - clear memory

Hi,

we have just brought a 2nd hand 2001 5 col CD and need to clear off the memory.

Can anyone help please?

What on the memory are you trying to clear? If you have old jobs stored in the memory and the software is old you will have to go one job at at a time. Re-installing the software willerase the jobs but you need a Heidelberg techie to do it. Also is it a 250 job memory or 5000?

I had to do this on a press once. It is time consuming but you will find that the more jobs that get deleted your CP 2000 will start to work faster. On newer software you are able to group jobs and delete them faster. In the future try dumping jobs that you don't need or transfer the important ones to a flashcard.
