I have a number of European printshop customers mostly using CRON and some Amsky CtP systems. After some "hard years" in the beginning, both Chinese manufacturers had reached a high-class technical level. CRON had released the first "double drum" CtP two years ago, which is working very well and reliable.

Were using a Cron 36H for the last 3 years. I've had a coolant pump fail would be the biggest problem with it so far in that time.
I was working with Cron and Amsky for a few years. Installations, service, training.
From both imagers you will have good image on plates.
Amsky have better plate centring system.
Cron is known for left/right alignment issues because the way they do it.
On Amsky you can load and expose the same plate 4 times and you'll get good image.
Amsky is easier to service and diagnose. Error reporting and remote diagnose.
As the user you should ask yourself: where is nearest service technician and spare parts warehouse.

Inkjet CtP has come a long way given it's been 15+ years in and of course limitations are related to your needs for run lengths, plates per day etc etc but pound for pound, dollar for dollar, they are the best platemaker in the World today if your criteria is in line with its capabilities.
You will get vastly better cost per plate and far less annual cost of operation overall from this type on machine. Of course, the questions matter. You can easily learn if it fits your needs with a few simple answers related to your operation. My 3 cents, sorry, had to raise the price to keep pace!
