Cut-off Variation

Cut-off Variation

Cut - off variation is the result of poor tension control of paper into the Folder/ Sheeter.

# 1 RUN the chill roller surface speed the same as the last unit Blanket Cylinder Speed.

# 2 Check your Silicone Application Roller Speed also check you are applying correct Silicone/Water ratio.

#3 Check the Sheeter Infeed Nip Rollers.

it was a pin

it was a pin

thanks for the help..... double checked everything .....turned out to be a couple of shear pins in the sheeter knive..... normally when they shear the knive comes to a stop but for some reason the pins still has enough material to keep driving the knive... but had a lot of wiggle in it. put the new shear pins in.... problem solved actually holding cutoff better then..... before this trouble started ......thanks again for your reply .......hope this helps somebody else if they have sheeter problems ....check the shear pins!!! ........best regards ...steve
