Data Processing Specialist

We are seeking experienced Variable Data Programmers with Quadient (Inspire Designer) or XMPie experience to join the Enpointe team. Our Variable Data Programmers are responsible for designing and developing high-quality, highly variable and dynamic direct mail campaigns utilizing innovative technology for some of the nation’s top brands.


Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze medium to complex applications using Quadient Inspire Designer
  • Utilizes department software to perform data manipulation, cleansing, sortation, assignments, and calculations to prepare the client data for final output.
  • Proficiency using logic in the Quadient scripting environment.
  • Maintain and support previously built Quadient workflows.
  • Review for problems, errors, data validation and layout inconsistencies.
  • Experience with creative applications, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
  • Knowledgeable in USPS requirements and regulations.
  • Continuously improves efficiencies and provides input for best practices.
  • Provides training to other VDP Programmers and departments.
  • Has a meticulous attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


Qualifications

  • Computer science background, programming, or related technical experience.
  • Some technical college or equivalent.
  • 3+ years in Direct Mail Industry.
  • 3+ years working with Data Processing software such as BCC Mail Manager.
  • 3+ years working with variable content management software such as GMC Inspire Designer.
  • Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat).
  • Windows and OS X proficient.
