Digital Barcode creation and scanning

Hi All

For some time I've been using Enfocus Instant Barcode to create and verify my barcodes.

Just recently I've needed to create (and verify) barcodes that Instant Barcode is not able to generate.

How is everyone else here creating their codes and verifying them? I really don't want to go back to hand scanning now my customers are happy with the digital verification process.

Almost all, if not all, of the jobs I send out are now digital files - I don't have film or proofs to scan so I don't want (if I can help it) the cost of outputting just for barcode verification.

Any ideas and thoughts gratefully received!

I am confused - what sort of barcode do you need / how do you plan on using them ? How are you using the barcodes now ? We create barcode separator sheets when scanning large sets of medical, escrow and legal documents. We created QR Codes to be placed as art. We created Barcodes for packaging. All three are different, and all three are created differently. You can created a Bardcode using InDesign (using a font) and you can use features within data csrape applications to create them - or stand alone applications to create them - it depends.

Not sure what to suggest, as you have not provided enough information ...
