easy one to answer and the guys above have said it, know your market and whatever you do, dont take the word of a sales rep. Have a look at the customer expectations documents. most machines have one and it will give you the real story. Don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you read.
Be ready for a lot of service if you are coming from the offset side.
Don't sell it as "digital printing" just sell it as printing, 99% of the time the customer doesn't care if it came from a 4 color Heidelberg or a 4 color Xerox.
IF you can afford it, get the next size up from whatever you are looking at with all the bells and whistles.

Craig probably keeps his machine running all day so it's very reilable. Don't buy a machine you can't keep busy. Under utilized = unreliable.

Excellent bit of advice Uber! All of the production devices from each manufacture like to keep running.
